Parent Support Advisers
Parent Support Advisers (PSAs) are based within individual schools and can offer advice and support to all parents on any aspect of their life. PSAs also work with parents to gain their views on services available to families in the City and to ensure that these views are represented. Although the PSAs are based in schools the work they carry out is parent led and the service they offer is impartial and confidential. The Parent Support Adviser (PSA) project was piloted in Plymouth between 2006 and 2008. There are currently PSAs in all secondary and special schools and the majority of primary schools across Plymouth. For information on PSAs currently working in schools and how to contact them, please see below.
